We are Dann and Julie Gillen.
Several years ago Dann learned that he has many food allergies, one of which is soy. Soy is found in most bottled salad dressings, marinades and sauces. This meant that Julie would now need to make her own. For someone who is not a connoisseur of the kitchen, this wasn’t going to be easy.
They came across a recipe that was able to be modified for Dann’s allergies and she added her own flair to it. This soon became Dann’s favorite dressing (this was evident because he would literally lick his plate). They began serving this to friends and family and with their encouragement leafcandy® was born!
